Durable, X-GRIPS® magazine adapters provide easy conversion of full-size pistol magazines for use in 1911 and SIGARMS/Sig Sauer compact pistols, so you have more ammo available when you need it.  More models to come in the near future for Walther and H&K compacts.

The 1911 adapts a full size Colt .45 acp 1911 8 round magazine to function and blend into the frame of the compact 1911 Officer pistol only with the Act-Mag/NOVAK 1911  brand magazines.  Once again, the X-GRIPS® magazine extender does not work with any other magazine manufacturer other than Act-Mag and Novak branded 1911 8rd .45 acp. magazines because the floor plate of other manufacturers designs does not fit the X-GRIPS® design.

The one piece, P228/P229 model, which works with factory original German manufactured P226 plates, converts 15rd, 9mm, P226 magazines for use in P228 or P229 pistols of the same caliber. Should you have the newly redesigned magazine with the longer protruding metal floor plate holder you can grind this down from the 45mm length to the 43mm length of the original German design and the X-GRIPS® will protect and cover this modification.  Our unique X-GRIPS® will eliminate the sharp edge of the metal floor plate holder and enhances the finger rest posture.  X-GRIPS® is a SIG SAUER/SIGARMS factory supplied part.  Call for additional installation information if necessary. 

The P245, which works with factory floor plates as well as with the proven Act-Mag P220 Magazines is a two piece closed bottom unit that snaps tight around the floor plate for a secure fit on .45 Auto, P220 magazines, increasing the P245 capacity to 8 rounds. The special, impact-resistant polymer weighs only ounces. X-GRIPS® feature a streamlined design that follows the factory contours for a near seamless mate to the grip frame, plus gives added support for your little finger to improve comfort and weapon control!
